Our body is created for physical activity, and if we do not move it enough we will get many different health issues.
It is as simple as that!
Now, I am not only talking about fitness training, or gym training, even the small things count, like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or taking a walk in the park.
Here are 7 reasons for you to hit your home gym today (in my opinion you should do that everyday!) or go running:
1 Fight Stress
If you had a tough day at work and feel tired, that is when you really need the exercise. Sweating and exercising is a really great way to relax and reduce stress.
It also gets your mind away from work related events, and enables you to think more positively.
2 Stay Strong
Exercise helps you fight several (if not most) diseases and health issues. Examples of this is depression, high blood pressure, arthritis and some cancers.

3 Stay Happy
Exercise makes you more focused, and the body releases endorphins that makes you feel better, and makes you relax.
4 Sleep Like a Princess
Your body will easier enter deep sleep if you exercised during the day, and this makes you sleep better and you will wake up feeling more refreshed.
Entering deep sleep is very important for our health, and there are several studies that confirm that.
5 Feel Like a King
Exercising will make you look better, and more in shape, but you will also feel happier and think more positive.
Being in good shape will automatically improve your self confidence and you will get a more positive self image. This will be noticeable by others. .
6 Become more productive
Its easy to get stuck when you are working, and then you manage to do very little.
By taking a small break and going for a walk outside you oxygenize your body and your brain, and you can think more clearly.
7 Stay in Shape
This kind of goes without saying. But keep in mind that staying in shape is not just about hitting the gym, don’t underestimate the small things you can do in your everyday life to stay fit, like taking the stairs instead of the escalator, or taking a walk in the park.
All movement burns fat, and more importantly increases your well being, which I believe should be the main goal rather than weight loss.
Try to exercise at least half an hour every day (I try but sometimes fall short).
There are studies that show that exercise can be as effective as medicine on some disease.
This does not mean that you should stop taking any medicines though, just that you should move your body more!
